Executive Summary

This week, we are sharing the third of four white papers released this Summer, by Johnson Controls, which explore different concepts to help schools, businesses, municipalities and government facilities implement renewable energy initiatives, including various approaches and financing models.

As a follow up to last week's white paper focus on on-site renewables and energy efficiency to fuel economic, environmental and social progress, this next paper explores how two organizations navigated the process of installing solar power systems to help power their operations. The case studies demonstrate how schools, business and governments at all levels can generate their own clean power from the sun while helping protect the environment, and ensuring their energy security and safe money.

Next week, we'll share another complementary paper, focused on financing models for energy efficiency and renewable energy in existing buildings.

Johnson Controls is a global diversified technology and industrial leader serving customers in more than 150 countries.
