Registration open
Registration is now open for the first installment of Sustainable Industries' 2011-2012 Economic Forum series.
The series kicks off Oct. 20 at the St. Regis in San Francisco with keynotes Alex Bogusky and Bonnie Nixon. Events to follow include Seattle in November, and Portland and Santa Monica in early 2012.
The San Francisco event places special emphasis on the Access Economy: an emerging economic development and business model that foster less consuming, more sharing, and real-time customer feedback. This model, which is attracting massive interest from venture capital world, is epitomnized by Bay Area startups Getaround, winner of the 2010 BBMG Collective Prize presented by Sustainable Industries, and Airbnb, as well as SnapGoods and others.
Keynote Alex Bogusky, the iconoclastic ad man who made Crispin Porter + Bogusky the world's most awarded agency, then turned heads with the launch of FearLess Revolution, will share his inspiring story and introduces Common, a collaborative brand for social entrepreneurs. Bonnie Nixon, who redefined supply chain ethics and stakeholder engagement as Director of Environmental Sustainability at HP, will then talk about scaling the Access Economy in the world's most impactful corporations from her new role as Executive Director of The Sustainability Consortium. Finally, BBMG will unveil a new branding campaign and the lessons learned from a case study with the founders of Getaround. All followed by interactive Q&A with the experts, and high-impact networking.
Until Sept. 2, attendees can take advantage of a $20 early-bird discount on their individual ticket by using the code BIRD at checkout. Premium upfront tables of 10, which allow companies to display company signage and invite colleagues and clients to the breakfast, are on sale for $1500 each. These can also be purchased online.
The Sustainable Industries Economic Forums are annual, high-profile business breakfasts that feature inspiring keynotes, interactive workshops and high-powered networking.
